Case study: securing support for an acquisition
A SGX-listed company was seeking shareholder approval to acquire a fast-growing international owner and leaser of oil rigs. We were engaged to articulate the rig provider’s potential to investors in order to encourage backing for the deal.
We enlisted the backing of respected industry veterans to comment favourably on the proposed acquisition and we oversaw the client’s rebranding, including developing a a range of collaterals and a new corporate website.
Despite negative market sentiment at a time of low oil prices, the transaction received 100% shareholder approval at the EGM.
